Joint Pain & Bone Health

Tissue Degeneration: Causes and Impacts of Degenerative Diseases

It is mainly due to our modern Lifestyle, that problems with joint and bone health have become epidemic. Today joint and back pain are the main causes for early disability. Bone loss – diagnosed as osteopenia or osteoporosis – are also increasing in prevalence, especially among women. Musculoskeletal disorders – problems with muscles, tendons, nerves, disks, etc. – have become an own industry.

Unfortunately for the millions of people who suffer from these problems, conventional medicine is mostly focused on treating the symptoms with drugs or surgery. That means: patients find limited relief from the discomfort, but not the factors that gave rise to their problems. Without treatment aimed at a cure, the conditions become chronic and inevitably get worse!

From an orthodox point of view: pain-related conditions are most frequently treated with NSAID’s (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), i.e. traditional analgesics and anti-rheumatics. Bone loss is treated with drugs to increase bone density. All of these drugs have severe long-term side effects. Patients are given pharmaceuticals until symptoms become intolerable, at which point surgery is offered as the only and last option.

The perspective of Biological Medicine is very different. We aim to slow the degeneration of the body almost to a standstill, if not indeed to cure the patient’s problems. This is a much better outcome, than offered by conventional medicine. In our approach, we first diagnose the underlying causes of the disorder, as well as the connections among the problems. For example, mineral deficiencies and chronic acidification can cause bone loss. Hormonal balance is another contributing cause. Joint health is affected by a host of factors never examined by orthodox doctors, including systemic inflammation and weak detoxification.

Overall more than 50% of all patients we treat for joint pain and bone health Problems: improve significantly, and practically all patients experience great improvement when taking our remedies, without the use of harmful medicines and their side-effects. So many of our patients cancel their scheduled joint replacement surgery – which is no longer needed. The gains in quality of life and overall well-being are immense!
